COMME Des Garcons and Nike have been collaborating for a long time.

FLY KNIT RACER / COMME des GARÇONS
The design was based on “NIKE FLYKNIT RACER”, which contained the latest technologies at the time. The shoes was made for running shoes, but nowdays a lot of sport athletes wear them.
For Comme des Garcons ones, there are big ribbons on the uppers.
The design was very simple, but nicely coordinated with COMME Des Garcons Runway’s unique design pieces.

AIR FORCE 1 LOW, MID / COMME des GARÇONS HOMME PLUS
The thema of COMME Des Garcons HOMME PLUS was “boyhood” in the 2017 Autumn / Winter.
As the season thema “Boyhood”, there were Rei Kawakubo’s thoughts and hopes “Reminds us a great era like when we were kids”.
During the fashion show, almost all models were wearing tailored jackets because jackets symbolize adult men. However, As you can see, there are a lot of the soft toys like car, dinosaurs and so on.
She expressed “Boyhood” by using items that are for the adult men and toys that are for the kids.
The design was based on AIR FORCE 1 LOW/MID, which are very iconic shoes of NIKE, and attached soft toys on them.
NIKE, especially AIR FORCE, has been collaborating with various famous brands, but they are one of unique creations.
